Montreal, March 11, 2025 – La Guilde du jeu vidéo du Québec (Quebec Video Game Guild) is pleased to launch the second volume of its Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Best Practices Guide, presented by Beenox. Available free of charge to its members, this multidisciplinary tool aims to promote career advancement, employee retention, and resistance management. Developed in collaboration with RIQEDI and CTIC, this addition reiterates our commitment to supporting video game companies in integrating DEI principles into their internal activities and processes.
Impactful DEI initiatives
The Guild’s Best Practices Guide is part of a series of initiatives in diversity, equity, and inclusion, such as workshops, discussion groups, mentoring, and support programs that promote continuous learning. Updating the guide allows us to provide our members with information that is current and adapted to evolving practices.
“ La Guilde is particularly proud to offer its member studios a tool that enables them to be agents of change in the video game industry. Integrating DEI principles contributes to the well-being, fulfillment, and creativity of employees and, consequently, to the success of our studios and our industry. We would like to thank our partner Beenox, as well as our collaborators who participated in the realization of this project,” said Béatrice Desjardins-Gagnon, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Advisor, La Guilde du jeu vidéo du Québec.
“Beenox is pleased to actively support La Guilde’s DEI initiatives and to work alongside them to produce a practical, high-impact guide for our entire industry. Our desire to contribute positively to the promotion and integration of inclusive practices in the workplace is realized through this concrete tool, which is tailor-made for video game studios,” adds Nour Polloni, Studio Director, Beenox.
