Annual Video Game Day at the National Assembly

Every year, La Guilde organises a Video Game Day in Quebec City. This day of political meetings at the National Assembly is all about sharing information and raising awareness among public officials of the various impacts of our industry. The day culminates in a networking cocktail party at the Agora of the National Assembly, where member studios are invited to celebrate Quebec video games in the company of elected officials and friends of the industry.

  • Visits and meetings with decision-makers in Quebec City: The Guild’s annual meeting with the Finance, Economy, Higher Education, Employment, Immigration and Francophonie ministries, as well as members of parliament, to discuss priorities and opportunities for the industry.
  • Industry cocktail party at the National Assembly : A festive event that brings government guests, partners and industry members together at the National Assembly’s Agora. This highlight of the year allows politicians to immerse themselves in our industry’s world and meet its talented people through game presentations, inspiring speeches and networking. Each year, more than 100 participants and industry leaders take part in this initiative.

The 4th edition of the Annual Video Game Industry Cocktail took place on February 24, 2026. The event concluded a full day of ministerial meetings organized by La Guilde and representatives of the Government Relations Committee.

The evening brought together more than one hundred representatives from Quebec’s video game industry, numerous partners from our ecosystem, as well as elected officials, ministers and Members of the National Assembly in the Agora of the National Assembly of Québec for a memorable moment of discussion and exchange.

The cocktail has become an important moment for Quebec’s video game industry. Year after year, it stands out as a key milestone in our annual government relations agenda and provides an opportunity to highlight the positive impact of Quebec’s video game industry.
