MONTRÉAL, August 5, 2026 – The second edition of the Video Game Innovation Summit will take place on October 1, 2026, in Montréal.
Over the course of a full day, studio leaders, industry experts and applied research specialists will come together to discuss the challenges and opportunities shaping the future of video game development.
The program will feature panels, presentations and hands-on workshops focused on concrete challenges facing the industry, including evolving production pipelines, integrating AI into workflows while maintaining creative control, new approaches to boosting productivity, and the technologies that will shape the years ahead.

The Summit is a joint initiative of La Guilde du jeu vidéo du Québec and the Centre de développement et de recherche en intelligence numérique (CDRIN), in collaboration with the Ministère de l’Économie, de l’Innovation et de l’Énergie (MEIE), PragmaFrame and Keywords Studios.
