\r\n\r\nMontreal, July 28, 2021 \u2013\u00a0<\/b>La Guilde du jeu vid\u00e9o du Qu\u00e9bec is proud to announce the results of the fourth edition of La Caravane, on the road to international expansion, which virtually brought together 81 video game studios around its program. La Guilde wishes to congratulate the 10 studios that won the\u00a0Pitch Contest<\/i>\u00a0held during the event, rewarding the best sales pitches associated with their game projects. Set up by Ubisoft, La Guilde du jeu vid\u00e9o du Qu\u00e9bec and Qu\u00e9bec EPIX, with the collaboration of The Chamber of Commerce of Metropolitan Montreal and Investissement Qu\u00e9bec International, La Caravane is a project that aims to support studios\u2019 sales efforts and the new challenges brought about by the current context where major trade shows are all held virtually this year.\r\n\r\nFrom April to May, La Caravane\u2019s program, which was geared towards video game studio developers, offered virtual trainings and conferences on how to build a robust business plan and strong brand, funding opportunities, strategy, diversity and inclusion awareness in cultural leadership, international market potential, community creation and engagement, showcasing projects through pitches and negotiation principles.\r\n\r\nPitch Contest\u00a0<\/i><\/b>Winners<\/b>\r\n\r\nThe 10 winning studios of the\u00a0Pitch Contest<\/i>, who impressed a diverse jury of publishers and industry experts from around the world, will be able to participate in several international missions in the coming year such as DevCom, Pocket Gamer, MEGAMIGS and many others, all free of charge. Among all the submissions received, 2 of the 7 studios chosen are from Quebec. Quebec\u2019s talent will once again shine on the international scene thanks to this incredible forum which will welcome the following two studios at the end of August:\r\n\r\nClever Plays<\/a>\u00a0Studio for its game Operation: Tango\r\nWatcha Games<\/a>\u00a0Studio for its game Sea Raiders\r\n\r\nAbout La Caravane virtuelle, On the road to international expansion<\/b>\r\n\r\nLa Caravane is an annual event organized around four main themes: training; networking and professional exchanges; succession planning and discoverability for the general public.
