Innovation Summit - Video Games

Studios, tech experts, researchers, creators, and innovation practitioners: come share your perspectives and transform ideas into tangible solutions.

Why a Video Game Innovation Summit now?

In a context where challenges are multiplying (technological complexity, economic pressure, societal expectations), innovation is no longer a luxury—it is a condition for survival.

The Video Game Innovation Summit was designed as an exclusive space for convergence, where ideas flow between production and research, between independent studios and AI experts, between field experiences and cutting-edge tools. To help you test approaches, break down barriers between your practices, and move forward collectively in a concrete way.

An initiative led by La Guilde du jeu vidéo du Québec and CDRIN, and presented by Finalta Capital, in direct response to the challenges faced in the field by studios, R&D partners, and innovation leaders.

Recap of the 2025 Edition

More than 150 professionals from the video game industry and related sectors gathered at Espace Ax.c for a day of discussions, networking, and learning.

The result of an inspiring collaboration between La Guilde and the CDRIN, this initiative aims to build a bridge between academia and industry leaders. Together, we looked toward the future: what tools, methods, and experiments will shape the successes of tomorrow?

The success of this event highlights Quebec’s strong position in game development innovation, reinforcing our status as a global leader in the industry.

Luc Sirois, Quebec’s Chief Innovator and Executive Director of the Conseil de l’innovation du Québec, attended and addressed the professionals in attendance; a powerful recognition of the innovation opportunities in video games and across related industries.
